We do this by building data infrastructure that processes data from multiple sources (including road cameras, sensors etc), and uses AI to make smart recommendations. This helps cities and transport authorities help people move around travel networks easier and faster. Our platform addresses challenges related to things like bus network improvements, roadworks planning, highways monitoring - and modelling what-if scenarios.

About the role

Alchera has product, recurring revenue, and strong customer logos. What it does not yet have is repeatable product-market fit. The Head of Product owns the layer that turns customer insight into shipping decisions - building the rhythm, clarity, and evidence base that lets engineering, commercial, and customer success move in the same direction with confidence.

This is a cross-functional role. You will sit at the intersection of what customers need, what engineering can build, and what the business needs to sell - and you will be the person who makes those three things coherent. You will run discovery, design experiments, own the roadmap, and partner closely with the commercial and customer success teams to ensure product is directly supporting pipeline and retention, not running alongside them.

Our team

We’re an energetic and driven 15-person start-up making an impact in the transport infrastructure space. You’ll join a team of talented builders and operators, with deep knowledge of the industry, users and customers.

You will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on product strategy and how it is communicated externally. In the short term, the CEO will own how the product story is told at board level, with you holding the strategy itself and giving her confidence in it. Over time, as that trust is built, that responsibility shifts to you.
